Alfa Romeo has released a new version of the 156 V6 Monza, featuring a six-speed manual transmission. The manual improves upon the performance figures of the automatic transmission model by cutting 1.2 seconds from the 0-100 sprint (now 7.3 seconds) and increasing the top speed to 230km/h. Equipment levels are identical to the existing 156 V6 Monza fitted with an automatic transmission. The six-speed manual is the same as that used in the V6 powered GTV V6 and Spider V6 models, a 'heavy duty' unit designed for use with the V6 engine.
